Scapa Flow is a privately held software company located in Midland, Texas. We have been making amazing applications for iOS platform since 2013.

In addition to creating our own apps, we create amazing apps for our clients through our consulting services.

Our history

Scapa Flow, LLC is a privately held company founded in 2004 by John Dorman, M.D., a board certified neurosurgeon, in Midland Texas. In addition to developing software, Dr. Dorman maintains a full time neurosurgical practice, performing complex spine surgeries as well as other procedures.

Innovation was initially focused on the development of surgical instruments and their uses. We hold several patents, both design and method, for these instruments.

In 2012 our focus shifted to software development. Since that time we have developed surgical navigation platforms designed to be used during surgery.
